Training Pilot Opportunity at Porter Airlines Inc.

Porter Airlines Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Training Department as a Simulator and Ground School Training Pilot. As an integral part of our training team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of Porter pilots by providing comprehensive simulator and ground school instruction in conjunction with assisting in curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating the Dash 8-400 Full Motion Flight Simulator and Flight Deck Procedures Trainer to conduct training for Dash 8-400 First Officers and Captains
  • Teaching Dash 8-400 systems, technical, and operational ground school in a classroom or virtual environment for First Officers and Captains
  • Working independently and with a team of training content developers to create training curriculum
  • Understanding and promoting the Company's Safety Policy
Requirements:
  • Have, or have held an Airline Transport Pilot License (Transport Canada)
  • Airline training experience required
  • Aviation College or University Degree is an asset
