Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and protocols.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are ordered and stocked.
  • Hire food service staff, ensuring that all new employees are properly trained and integrated into the team.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that all financial aspects of the food service department are managed effectively.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that all necessary data is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on food service operations and performance.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
