We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications
- Lead the healthcare team and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Recent, related experience in emergency nursing is an asset
- Current Emergency Nursing Orientation (ENO) training Level 1 within 2 months of hire
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize care for multiple patients and manage competing demands
- Proficiency in computer software and applications
- Bilingualism (English/French)
- Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses
- Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
- Nursing care knowledge related to clinical area
