About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer, CNC/CMM Specialist to join our team at International Rubber Products Ltd. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Production Systems
    • Design, develop, and implement production systems, including CNC programming and quality assurance protocols.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of production systems.
  • Inspect and Optimize Processes
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes for increased efficiency.
    • Develop and implement corrective actions to address any issues or concerns.
  • Set Up and Maintain Equipment
    • Set up and maintain CNC machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Collect and Analyze Data
    • Collect and compile operational and experimental data to inform decision-making.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop Computer Applications
    • Develop computer applications to support production systems, including data collection and analysis tools.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Support Business Operations
    • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, and specifications for production projects.
    • Provide technical support to production teams as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
