Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Sheridan Doctors Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Medical Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This role will involve scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and test results
  • Prepare and send correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory of medical equipment and office materials
  • Provide administrative support to medical staff, including preparing charts and reports
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain the integrity of patient records
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a medical administrative role
  • 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other medical software
