The Niagara Catholic District School Board is dedicated to maintaining a high standard of teaching in our classrooms. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, we may require individuals who are actively working towards their Ontario Certificate of Teaching to step in and manage a classroom in the absence of a certified teacher.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher when applicable.
- Ensure appropriate behavior and discipline within the classroom and on school grounds.
- Maintain regular communication with the School Principal or Vice Principal throughout the school day to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current resume (to be submitted with application).
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (mandatory prior to commencing work in a school).
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
- Proof of enrollment in a post-secondary education program aimed at obtaining a teaching certificate.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in an educational environment is preferred.

WORKING HOURS: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
WORK LOCATION: Various elementary and secondary educational institutions
COMPENSATION: $40.24 per hour
