About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the Montréal Marriott Château Champlain. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms, common areas, and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Room Preparation: Change bedding and towels, and restock amenities as needed.
  • Common Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment, including vacuum cleaners and cleaning supplies, are in good working order.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Executive Housekeeper, and communicate with colleagues and management as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required, with basic knowledge of English an asset.
