Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Public Area Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Delta Hotels. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including restrooms, showers, and common spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize public and employee restrooms and showers, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas to identify and report any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized waste management system.
  • Dust and polish surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance and engineering, to ensure seamless operations and efficient problem-solving.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, and stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds, and push and pull equipment as needed.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and excellence.
