Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, the Digital Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in aligning digital marketing initiatives with organizational goals. This position is vital for maintaining Techo-Bloc's competitive edge.
You will be tasked with designing, executing, and overseeing the comprehensive digital marketing strategy aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving revenue through paid marketing initiatives. Additionally, you will manage projects, develop digital media and social media strategies, and optimize performance by analyzing data and deriving actionable insights. We seek a highly analytical individual with a proven history of using data and metrics to achieve online success, who can effectively narrate consumer behavior in the digital space. Strong leadership skills are essential to inspire and challenge experts to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement extensive digital marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, generate leads, and increase sales across various online platforms, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Design and establish the data framework to assess the complete customer journey across multiple channels, optimizing conversion points and user pathways. Plan, execute, and evaluate experiments and conversion tests to enhance user experiences and drive conversion rates.
- Employ data analytics tools to monitor, measure, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), and sales, providing data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct market research and competitor assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the digital realm, offering actionable insights to enhance campaign performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Creative, and Events, to create integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and meet customer needs.
- Oversee digital advertising budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize campaign expenditures to maximize return on investment (ROI) and achieve targeted outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing advancements, proactively suggesting strategies for ongoing improvement and optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications in digital marketing, data analytics, or similar areas are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing roles with a focus on data analytics, strategy formulation, and campaign optimization.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent platforms to monitor and evaluate digital marketing performance.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex data sets, derive actionable insights, and make informed decisions to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas, present findings, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, SEMrush, or similar resources.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to guide and mentor a team, drive results, and cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
