Job Summary

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and assisting with food preparation and serving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping food items
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
  • Handle and store cleaning products and chemicals safely
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and ingredients in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely and efficient manner
Work Environment

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
