Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility in Kingsville. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory movement and warehousing, as well as providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, inventory, and shipping.
  • Monitor the status of incoming orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Administer quality inspections of all incoming product to ensure compliance with grower specifications and Mastronardi Produce requirements.
  • Ensure that all skids are stacked properly and product is slotted and shipped correctly.
  • Manage inventory control and processing orders, as well as oversee quality control during shift.
  • Meet quality, delivery, and budget objectives, and deliver objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.
  • Carry out responsibilities for the use of computerized systems, including NAV.
  • Respond to and deal with commodity managers (sales) and keep stock control systems up-to-date.
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Brief team leaders on issues for that particular day.
  • Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
  • Track trailers in the yard.
Requirements:
  • College degree required.
  • Three years of related warehouse supervisor experience required.
  • Must pass Drug Test and Background Check.
  • Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision, and take ownership of job.
  • Spanish as a second language would be an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Highly proficient in computer use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees, and external contacts.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and requirements to maintain compliance to all relevant statues and guiding principles.
  • NAV experience of shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork.
Working Conditions:

Refrigerated warehouse environment. Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
