The Vintage Hotels group is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie Junior to join our team at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of Niagara's top kitchens and be part of a tenured team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all necessary food items are available for service and that the buffet is stocked daily.
  • Supervise and direct kitchen team members, scheduling workload and executing dining room main line.
  • Perform inventory control and ensure the rotation of food stocks.
  • Check kitchen function sheets daily to ensure that food items are available and that special menu requirements are attainable.
  • Ensure that kitchen standards are upheld at all times, both personally and by team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a culinary environment.
  • Culinary management diploma or red seal designation an asset.
  • Off-site catering experience an asset.
  • Team leader and motivator.
