The Environmental Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering environmental solutions, offering expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to Client-Partners on projects that typically involve moderate complexity, scope, and risk across various environmental service areas. These services may be executed using internal resources or through external contracts. The Coordinator is responsible for preparing technical documentation, reviewing outputs, aiding in procurement processes, supervising contractor and consultant activities, and orchestrating project tasks to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled on schedule, within scope, and budget.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are representative but not exhaustive:
Core Responsibilities

Execute and manage environmental tasks across a diverse range of projects to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards. Provide technical environmental support and/or lead the initiation and management of contracts. Generate environmental reports to satisfy Client-Partner specifications. Contribute to the fulfillment of service level agreements, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion of work. Review and/or conduct peer evaluations of environmental reports, statements of work, and cost projections. Deliver comprehensive project management services to guarantee timely, scope-compliant, and budget-conscious deliverables. Cultivate and sustain effective relationships within the organization and with industry stakeholders and Client-Partners. Ensure compliance with quality standards in alignment with corporate and Client-Partner expectations.

Additional Responsibilities

Formulate environmental procedures, policies, and directives. Implement quality control measures for service level agreements and deliverables. Support and/or spearhead business development initiatives. Manage associated risks. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge and Expertise

Familiarity with best practices, methodologies, trends, and legislation in environmental sciences and engineering. Understanding of project and risk management principles. Knowledge of health and safety management protocols.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum: A college diploma in biology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related field, accompanied by four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: A university degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field, along with specialized knowledge, training, and certifications in one or more environmental service areas.

REQUIRED ABILITIES

Proficient in applicable software and operating systems. Capable of creating and managing databases. Able to apply project and risk management techniques effectively.

DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP

Offer functional advice and guidance to team members and Client-Partners.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Standard office setting with occasional travel requirements. Some tasks may occur on environmental or construction sites, necessitating the use of basic safety equipment.
