Job Summary:

The Parts Advisor plays a vital role in driving revenue growth for the parts department at Brian Jessel BMW. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing assigned revenue channels, ensuring timely communication of delayed parts, and providing exceptional support to internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update clients on the status of parts orders in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to expedite delayed orders and minimize disruption.
  • Provide regular updates to internal and external clients, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
  • Support internal departments and external clients with inquiries, adhering to departmental guidelines and policies.
  • Contribute to the accuracy of inventory records, reporting discrepancies to the management team for resolution.
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts, ensuring the workspace is clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a parts advisor or provincial certification in parts technician, with in-depth knowledge of the parts department.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with solid customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with software systems, including Reynolds Ignite, S-Gate, and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 per year.
