Job Requirements

  • Learn Metrie grading standards and sort materials for optimal usage.
  • Ability to correctly interpret sorting/piling instructions.
  • Capable of lifting 20 lbs. regularly and 40-50 lbs. occasionally.
  • A strong ability to adapt to changing conditions and complete various tasks.
  • Self-motivation and a demonstrated focus on achieving company goals.
  • The ability to work methodically to the pace set by the machine center.
  • Use downtime to assist with cleanup and work area organization.

Safety

  • Keep work area neat, clean, and free of hazards.
  • Wear required PPE at all times.
  • Follow proper lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) policy at all times.
  • Report unsafe incidents and conditions.
  • Use proper lifting techniques.
  • Maintain awareness of safety hazards in work areas and throughout the plant.
