Established in 1978 and based in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) stands as a prominent figure in the window and door sector across Canada. Our operations encompass two manufacturing facilities in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres in various locations.
We are actively seeking Manufacturing Associates for our Production Plant 1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor both manual and automated machinery during the production process.
- Execute all tasks as directed by All Weather Windows guidelines while managing designated equipment.
- Adhere to all production protocols as instructed.
- Conduct all work to meet organizational standards, ensuring the final product adheres to quality benchmarks.
- Perform quality assessments as required.
- Identify and report any product or equipment issues to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with daily and weekly production schedules.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety regulations as outlined.
- Operate all equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient English communication skills or a minimum of Intermediate level 5 in English.
- Familiarity with production environments, including exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
- Frequent to constant visual and hand/eye coordination requirements.
- Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks.
- Capability to lift, push, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to stand, crouch, bend, reach, and stoop for extended periods.
- Heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds is necessary.
- Proficient in using a measuring tape.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Availability for overtime as needed.
