About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Chuck's Steakhouse in Banff. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality food experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and organization.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement kitchen procedures and protocols.
  • Manage food and product ordering, inventory, and storage to minimize waste and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment.
  • Assist with hiring and recruiting top talent for the kitchen team.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of culinary experience, with prior experience in a supervisory kitchen role.
  • Food Safety certification and knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
