Job Title: Brewery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brewery Operations Manager to join our team at Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our brewery, including production, quality control, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning of the brewery.
  • Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including coordinating with production staff and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines as needed.
  • Direct quality control inspections and ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Hire, supervise, and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting on stock levels and usage.
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in brewery operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in managing production, quality control, and maintenance operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
