We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at École Frank Ross Elementary in Dawson Creek. About the Position

This is a full-time teaching position for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching primary and intermediate students in a dual-track French Immersion and English program. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to providing high-quality instruction and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach primary and intermediate students in a dual-track French Immersion and English program
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements
  • Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
  • Experience teaching primary and intermediate students
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
