About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at World Fresh Seafood Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable and receivable.
    • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and implement financial reporting systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including cash flow management and asset protection.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
    • Develop and implement financial models to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a financial role.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high levels of accuracy. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
