About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shop Labourer to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Shop Labourer, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing and refurbishment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and operate equipment, including plasma tables and overhead cranes.
  • Assist in mechanical assembly, including dressing dippers, doors, and saddleblocks.
  • Track and manage inventory of consumables and usage.
  • Arrange and organize materials for jobs.
  • Perform general labor tasks, including moving machinery and tools.
  • Paint components and prepare them for shipping.
  • Assist journeyperson welders, mechanics, and machinists.
  • Maintain a strong focus on shop cleanliness and remove excess material/garbage daily.
Requirements
  • Strong work ethic and mechanical ability.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Welding/grinding skills an asset.
  • Overhead crane experience an asset.
  • Previous related experience an asset.
  • Valid Driver's License and own transportation required.
  • OSSA, CSTS, Class C First Aid an asset.
  • Must have a strong safety focus.
