We are seeking a proficient Multi-Family Construction Cost Estimator with a deep understanding of drywall estimation to become a vital part of our team. This role is essential during the pre-construction phase, where you will be responsible for accurately assessing project expenses and delivering insightful recommendations to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your expertise in drywall construction to estimate costs related to materials, labor, and equipment for multi-family construction projects
  • Develop competitive proposals for drywall projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgetary limits
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services
  • Analyze project plans to pinpoint challenges and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct thorough cost analyses to uncover savings while maintaining quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to investigate value engineering possibilities
  • Evaluate risks and propose solutions to mitigate them

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in drywall estimation for multi-family projects
  • Proficient in estimation software such as On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of drywall construction methods and materials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills
