We are seeking a skilled Drywall Estimator to join our team at Onni Group, a leading developer of multi-family projects in the Vancouver area. As a Drywall Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by accurately estimating project costs and providing valuable insights to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your drywall construction expertise to estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for multi-family construction projects in the Vancouver area
  • Prepare competitive bids for drywall construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and budget constraints
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing of materials and services
  • Review project plans to identify challenges and cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify savings without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to explore value engineering options
  • Assess risks and provide solutions to mitigate them
  • Maintain communication with clients, architects, and project managers
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in drywall estimation for multi-family projects
  • Proficiency in estimating software like On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of drywall construction techniques and materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
