Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mineral Processing Labourer to join our team at Revitastone Design Ltd. in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing routine maintenance work on machinery, and assisting process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including feeding conveyors, crushers, and other equipment, and opening valves and starting pumps.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant, using forklifts or dollies as necessary.
  • Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials, and assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.
  • Load and unload vehicles, and operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shape or design.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
