Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing routine maintenance work on machinery, and transporting raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant
  • Feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment
  • Open valves and start pumps
  • Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly
  • Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to a specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a mineral ore and metal processing plant with a fast-paced environment and will be required to work under pressure.
