Position Overview

The Culinary Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the food preparation and service operations within our establishment. This position involves managing staff and ensuring that all food quality standards are met.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established standards.
  • Compile food order summaries for the head chef.
  • Oversee and verify the assembly of food trays.
  • Develop and manage work schedules for staff.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
