Position Overview: The Senior Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing confidential administrative assistance to the executive leadership team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support to senior executives.
- Facilitate executive secretariat functions for various committees.
- Prepare agendas and minutes with precision and timeliness.
- Maintain organized files and records, ensuring easy access to information.
- Develop and correlate metrics and statistics for reporting purposes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of senior-level office operations and procedures.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies.
- Proficiency in budget management and control techniques.
- Familiarity with medical bylaws, directives, and healthcare legislation.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and various database applications.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong decision-making skills, both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work autonomously on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated initiative, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess a post-secondary office administration qualification from a recognized institution (minimum one year). Additionally, a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a senior administrative support role, preferably within a healthcare setting, is required. A valid Class 5 driver's license is also necessary. Training in Workplace Violence Intervention and MEDITECH is considered an asset.
