Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to senior executives.
  • Facilitate executive secretariat functions for various committees.
  • Prepare agendas and minutes with precision and timeliness.
  • Maintain organized files and records, ensuring easy access to information.
  • Develop and correlate metrics and statistics for reporting purposes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of senior-level office operations and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in budget management and control techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical bylaws, directives, and healthcare legislation.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and various database applications.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong decision-making skills, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work autonomously on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrated initiative, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess a post-secondary office administration qualification from a recognized institution (minimum one year). Additionally, a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a senior administrative support role, preferably within a healthcare setting, is required. A valid Class 5 driver's license is also necessary. Training in Workplace Violence Intervention and MEDITECH is considered an asset.
