About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Risk Management Advisor to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a key member of our IT Delivery sector, you will play a critical role in overseeing operational, technological, and cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and plans to ensure the bank's IT infrastructure and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to assess and mitigate technological risks, and implement security controls and risk mitigation measures.
  • Present the sector's risk posture to executives and monitor key performance indicators related to risk management.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to operational, technological, and cyber risk management between the squad and the supported IT delivery unit.
About You

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in risk management, leadership, and IT. You will have a degree in computer science, risk management, information security, or a related field, and at least 7 years of experience in risk management, including 2 years in a functional leadership role.

You will be an expert in risk management frameworks (ISO 31000, NIST) and security standards (ISO), and have a strong understanding of the banking industry and its regulatory requirements.
