About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Risk Management Advisor to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a key member of our IT Delivery sector, you will play a critical role in overseeing operational, technological, and cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and plans to ensure the bank's IT infrastructure and applications are secure.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to assess and address technological risks, and implement security controls and risk mitigation measures.
  • Present the sector's risk posture to executives, and monitor and report on key performance indicators related to risk management.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to operational, technological, and cyber risk management between the squad and the supported IT delivery unit.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in risk management, including at least 7 years of experience in the field, and 2 years in a functional leadership role. A degree in computer science, risk management, information security, or a related field is required. In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks (ISO 31000, NIST) and security standards (ISO) is essential.
