Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Woodpecker European Timber Framing & Woodworks Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality timber framing and woodworking products.
- Supervise and instruct apprentices, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Operate Computer-Aided Design (CADD) and other computer software systems to create detailed designs and specifications.
- Use Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to precision-cut and shape materials.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. They will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
Requirements- 5 years or more of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong judgment and reliability, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
- Dental and healthcare plans.
- Permanent full-time position with 44 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
