About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Taqueria Jalisco Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and equipment are sanitized and in good working order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
  • Prepare and cook simple food items, such as vegetables and fruits
  • Receive and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain kitchen tools
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Helper, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, often standing for extended periods and lifting heavy loads. You will be required to work overtime during peak periods and be physically demanding.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
