About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Papa John's Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Maintain accurate records of food quantities used and assist with inventory management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables and taking orders in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
