Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bunkhouse Desi Junction Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and supplies are properly maintained and ordered.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce food waste and improve kitchen efficiency.
  • Work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure that all customer complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager.
  • Proven track record of leading a high-performing kitchen team.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
