Contract Duration: 1 year

Location: Ottawa, ON

Benefits: 4% vacation premium

Work Schedule: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, 4X4 schedule

Role Overview

As an Assembly Component Operator, you will be tasked with ensuring the effective operation of assembly lines. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all necessary actions for the operation of the Klockner machine to produce calibration packs (calpaks) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assess quality and productivity issues to reduce defects and enhance throughput.
  • Implement required material changes promptly to minimize processing downtime.
  • Accurately document and maintain legible data throughout the process, adhering to documented procedures and GMP standards.
  • Understand and adhere to relevant EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Promote environmental safety and contribute to a healthy workplace culture.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Assets

  • High School Diploma.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capable of following detailed instructions with minimal supervision.

Compensation: $19.25 per hour
