Insurance Associate

The Associate, Signature Insurance is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and control administrative workflow, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Investigate accounting anomalies, including statement differences and account reconciliations.
- Create and verify policy information and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Advise brokers of errors and request re-writes from underwriters.
- Monitor delays in documents to clients and take corrective action.
- Process changes on broker portals and review renewals for missing coverages.
- 2+ years of related experience in the insurance industry, with a strong working knowledge of personal insurance products.
- Experience servicing and reviewing Elite markets (Chubb Insurance, Aviva Ovation, and Intact Prestige) is an asset.
- BC Level 1 General Insurance License, with a desire to obtain Level 2.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in Business, Sales/Marketing, Risk Management, or related discipline is an asset.
- CIP designation is an asset.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Superior communication skills.
- Committed to excellence in customer service and building strong relationships.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Skilled user of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, familiar with insurance customer relationship software.
- Demonstrated accountability and reliability in the quality and timeliness of work.
- Able to prioritize in a busy environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable with proven problem-solving skills.
- Works well within a team and independently.
- Critical thinker with high attention to detail.
