Underwriting Manager/AVP, Public Management Liability

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Underwriting Manager/AVP to join our team at Zurich Canada. As a key member of our Public Management Liability team, you will be responsible for overseeing our growing National Accounts Management Liability and Financial Institutions portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of underwriters to identify new growth opportunities and ensure that accounts meet our organization's appetite.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase product density with our accounts.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to underwriters to develop strong broker and client networks.
- Monitor sales pipeline and production metrics to ensure team performance.
- Collaborate with actuarial to ensure a proper rate/price structure.
- Manage relationships with producers to achieve profitable growth and market share.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in Public Management Liability Underwriting/Financial Institutions or Market Facing area.
- 2 or more years of management experience.
