We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Keller Executive Search. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative automation solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and the R&D technical team to develop a state-of-the-art robotic system for automating garment storage on hangers for global e-commerce platforms.
- Research and Development: Assume an active role in R&D, involving computer-aided design work and hands-on experimentation in our dedicated laboratory to test and evaluate robot behavior.
- Technical Project Management: Take charge of end-to-end automation tasks, including PLC programming, IT systems management, and supervision of electrical panel design.
- Collaborative Innovation: Participate in project brainstorming sessions, contributing to idea generation and problem-solving.
- Mechanical Design: Collaborate with mechanical engineers to contribute to the development and design of the system's mechanical components.
- Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or robotics engineering.
- 2 to 7 years' experience.
- Innovative and creative, with a passion for technical challenges.
- Good knowledge of PLC/HMI systems and GRAFCET, ladder, ST programming, and Beckhoff programming languages.
- Good electrical knowledge (control and power).
- Bilingual, English and French, to communicate with internal and external suppliers and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in an R&D environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Be a cheerful person.
- Base salary according to experience.
