Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Great Canadian. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals to achieve high performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen operations strategies to optimize food quality, presentation, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to drive menu development, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular inventory reviews and analyze discrepancies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and team members.
Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma; Post-Secondary Culinary program education.
  • Minimum 2 years in Culinary leadership or Chef de Partie position.
  • RED SEAL certification or current enrollment in a Culinary program towards Red Seal is an asset.
  • Food Safety Certification.
  • Ability to successfully clear a criminal record check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed.
Work Environment

This is a regular kitchen environment, requiring standing and walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours.
