We're seeking a Tax Manager/Director to join our growing Real Estate Tax practice in Los Angeles. In this role, you'll manage and develop relationships with clients, assist with tax and financial planning objectives, and research and draft technical tax memoranda.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client relationships and developing strategic plans to meet their tax and financial objectives.
  • Assisting clients with tax planning, wealth transfer, and estate planning.
  • Researching and drafting technical tax memoranda on various tax issues.
  • Reviewing and signing tax returns, and serving as a subject matter expert when necessary.
  • Overseeing client engagement teams and mentoring staff.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • An active CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Director position, a JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Manager position, a JD may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.
  • A passion for helping others and a desire to join a high-performing team.
