About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at Binkadi Community Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and address the needs of clients in group homes, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement life skills workshops to empower clients with essential skills for independent living.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and develop strategies for overcoming challenges and achieving personal growth.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services to clients in need.
  • Supervise and support clients in group homes, promoting a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement behavior management programs and provide support to clients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
