Job Title: Youth Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Coordinator to join our team at the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote the well-being and empowerment of Indigenous youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs that promote the well-being and empowerment of Indigenous youth
  • Collaborate with community partners to identify and address the needs of Indigenous youth
  • Provide support and guidance to youth in areas such as education, employment, and health
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform program development and evaluation
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in youth development or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Indigenous cultures and communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
