About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Song Residence. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation, to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medication, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn, with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate.
Working Conditions

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
