Position Overview

The role of a Factory Maintenance Worker at Pastificio D'Aprile Ltd involves ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility through effective maintenance practices.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required, such as a degree, certificate, or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
Work Environment

This position is set within a factory or plant environment, where various tasks will be performed to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make necessary adjustments and conduct minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; liaise with tradespersons for significant repairs.
  • Coordinate with contractors for the upkeep and repair of the facility.
  • Execute minor appliance repairs as needed.
  • Conduct safety and security inspections regularly.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage repetitive tasks.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
