Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at ARJ Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Coordination: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in dispatch management service software, mapping and data visualization software, monitoring and tracking software, and word processing software.
  • Security and Safety: Possess a valid driver's license, and undergo a criminal record check and basic security clearance.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, reliable, and a team player.
