As a key member of our team, you will provide a full continuum of public health, prevention, and health promotion services to enhance the optimal health, well-being, and safety of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide public health nursing services, including health promotion, advocacy, counseling, education, assessment, referral, and intervention in a variety of community-based settings.
- Develop and maintain community partnerships to provide health promotion and education services.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Conduct health assessments and develop care plans to meet the unique needs of clients.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on health-related topics.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Training in public health nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
