Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across long distances. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek and requires a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other team members.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. The successful candidate must be willing to travel cross-border and internationally.
