Senior .Net Support Architect

Position Overview

As a Senior .Net Support Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of applications developed in .Net, hosted on Azure, and utilizing SQL databases. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining system integrity and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Level 2 Support: Address and resolve application issues to minimize business disruption.
  2. Troubleshooting: Identify and rectify application performance issues proactively.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess application health and system performance.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with L1 support, development teams, and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
  5. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
  6. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting and operational procedures.
  7. Deployment Assistance: Support the deployment and configuration of applications within the Azure environment.
  8. SQL Query Execution: Utilize SQL to extract data, diagnose issues, and enhance application support.
  9. On-Call Support: Participate in a rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical applications.
  10. User Communication: Keep users informed about issue resolution and system status.
Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated experience in application support, particularly with .Net, Azure, and SQL.
  2. In-depth knowledge of the .Net framework and proficiency in C# programming.
  3. Experience with Azure services, including App Services and Azure SQL Database.
  4. Strong SQL skills, capable of writing and troubleshooting complex queries.
  5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  8. Willingness to engage in on-call support duties.
Preferred Skills
  1. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and incident management.
  2. Experience with automation tools to enhance support efficiency.
  3. Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is advantageous.
  4. Background in a financial or technology-focused environment.
