.NET Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and maintain extensive distributed n-tier web applications within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework.
  • Collect and document business requirements effectively.
  • Set and uphold design standards across projects.
  • Conduct thorough object-oriented analysis.
  • Create, develop, and maintain software components to meet business needs.
  • Deliver comprehensive system architectural designs and detailed requirements documentation, adhering to the application development lifecycle.
  • Identify essential success factors and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Develop key application frameworks and reusable templates.
  • Additional duties include: Designing and implementing solutions for the enterprise. Analyzing and optimizing application performance. Offering guidance to the development team. Collaborating closely with the Chief Technology Officer as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a .NET architect in significant IT projects.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) software development.
  • Proven track record as a senior object-oriented designer/architect leading development teams utilizing .NET technologies.
  • Practical experience with n-tier deployments, C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
  • Strong expertise in UML modeling techniques, including use case realization and sequence diagrams, preferably using Rational Rose/XDE.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft certification is a plus (MCP / MCSD).
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as VSS and ClearCase.
  • Experience with IIS 6.0.
