About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our corporate Billing and Accounts Receivable department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and process billings and statements of account from our computer system or manually.
  • Post charges and payments to the Accounts Receivable sub ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collect accounts in accordance with our policies and procedures, including following up on overdue accounts through correspondence and telephone contacts with patients, agencies, and insurers.
Requirements
  • A current administered 5-minute Typing Test of 45 wpm or greater completed within the past 48 months from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate or Official Transcript showing proof of completion of recognized Accounting Course(s).
  • Your Resume indicating two years' recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position.
  • Certificates/Diplomas/Transcripts must be from accredited Schools/Colleges/Universities.
