Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document editing, file maintenance, time entry, and billing
- Performing searches including Personal Property Registry, LTSA, and taxes
- Managing calendars and bring-forward systems
- Liaising with legal assistants, paralegals, lawyers, and clients
- Providing overflow assistance as needed
- Other related duties
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1-10 years of experience in a legal environment or equivalent role
- Legal certification from an accredited institution or equivalent education
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
- Excellent writing and drafting skills
- Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Dependable, adaptable, and with a strong work ethic
